Sir John Fisher Foundation grant

This month we have received confirmation of a successful grant application from the Sir John Fisher Foundation. This grant will be used to provide gates for the railways arches. The first arch to benefit from the grant will be the arch used for access between the Green Heart Den and the north plot.
Previously, working to a brief provided by members of our committee, art and design students from Furness College produced fantastic design options for these gates. Eventually Heather Stephensons design was chosen by memebers of our committee. We are currently arranging to have the gates manufactured and installed and to involve the students throughout this process.
